About Karen Hengerer...
As a Vice President and Senior Technology Manager for both J.P. Morgan and Salomon Brothers, Hengerer contributed to technology advances and maintained global leadership in one of the
worlds most complex business networks over a 15-year period. Prior to Wall Street, she worked as a technology/business consultant for AT&T Bell Labs.
Prior to her business endeavors, Hengerer worked with a variety of non-profit initiatives including promoting hunger awareness, prison reform and foreign doctoral student exchange. To this end, she madee sure that projects were supported by both strong visions and viable business plans.
To all these endeavors, she brings financial know-how and an ability to think strategically, whether for large institutions managing multi-million dollar projects or small start-ups with big visions.
Hengerer has a degree in Business Administration from Westminster College and a Masters in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. A constant learner and traveler, she has for years taken courses at local colleges for pleasure and is deeply interested in the promotion of public education.
